How it works

What actually happens

  • Finds repeats by reading the transcript, not by matching strings — a second attempt that came out differently worded still gets caught
  • Lists every take of a phrase together, with the one you settled on already selected
  • Flip the keeper to an earlier take when the last attempt is the broken one
  • Scope it to the whole sequence or just your in and out points
  • Choose where the kept take ends: end of the sentence, the longest take, or the phrase on its own
  • Worth running before Silence Cut, so the pause pass measures your rhythm across what actually survives
