Billing questions

Before you pay for anything

$9/month, or $59/year — 45% off the monthly rate. In India it is billed in rupees: ₹699/month or ₹3999/year (52% off the monthly rate). Every paid plan includes 300 transcribed minutes per rolling 30 days, which is roughly twenty videos a month. Before any of that you get a 7-day free trial with every AI feature unlocked, unlimited transcription and no card.

A subscription. There is no lifetime licence and no one-time price, because the transcription and AI behind every feature cost money each time you run them — a single payment could only be funded by capping what you use afterwards. What you can do instead is pay yearly: $59 (₹3999 in India) is one charge instead of twelve, at 45% off the monthly rate.

The actual length of the audio you transcribe, measured in seconds and shown to you in minutes. A 4-minute 30-second sequence costs you 4.5 minutes, not 5 — there is no per-job rounding and no minimum charge. Only transcription draws on your minutes: once the transcript exists, captions, AutoZoom, chapters, emphasis text, silence cutting and B-roll all run off it at no further cost, however many times you redo them.

No. Your allowance is 300 minutes across a rolling 30-day window, so minutes free up 30 days after you spend them rather than resetting on a billing date. In practice that is gentler than a calendar month — a heavy week does not leave you stuck until the 1st — but it does mean an unused month is not banked.

Yes. Backstage Cut is a panel that runs inside Premiere Pro, not a replacement for it, so you need your own Premiere licence from Adobe — 2021 (15.0) or later. Nothing here is resold or bundled: we are not affiliated with Adobe, and your Premiere subscription is entirely between you and them.

You can cancel anytime, from the pricing card or the panel's Account page, and you keep everything you have paid for until the end of the period you already bought. Charges already taken for a completed period are not refunded — which is exactly why the trial is a real 7-day window with every feature unlocked and no card: spend it on the video you are actually editing before you pay anything.

Yes, and it is the default in India rather than something to ask for. Indian customers are billed in rupees through Razorpay — ₹699/month or ₹3999/year — so there is no dollar conversion and no foreign-transaction fee from your bank. Everywhere else is billed in dollars through Stripe.
